KITCHEN TOUR & IRENTE VIEW POINT TOUR: 6-7Hrs
Take a nice walk to a village a few kilometres outside of Lushoto Town where you meet with Local Families in their home village where you can learn how to prepare the Local Tradition Food, Hear the History of the Wasambaa people then after you take a walk to the Irente View Point where you can sit for sunset. On the way back to Lushoto the transport is needed.
MAGAMBA RAINFOREST & IRENTE VIEWPOINT TOUR: 7-8Hrs
You start with uphill walk from Lushoto to the village of Kwembago then you proceed to the lush Magamba Forest. After the forest you descending to Irente Farm where you can stop for lunch. After lunch you walk to Irente view point then walk back another way to Lushoto.
MAGAMBA RAINFOREST & MKUZU WATERFALLS TOUR: 7-8Hrs
This tour begins with uphill walk from Lushoto to royal village of Kwembago where you learn about the cultural history of the traditional ruling clan, the Kilindi. From Kwembago you have a beautiful view over Lushoto and the Maasai plains. You proceed to lush Magamba rain forest home to black and white Columbus. After lunch keep walking through villages, farming land and small part of the forest then you walk all the way to the waterfalls. On the way back you walk a little bit and take transport to Lushoto.
MAWENI SPICE TOUR Via SONI WATERFALLS: 6-7Hrs
From Soni, the walk take you uphill walk around in Maweni where you learn some few spice, learn about Agro forest, pass village project and visit a soil conservation project. Enjoy the wonderful picnic in the garden as you are surrounded by butterflies and choirs of birds. On the return you pass through Soni waterfalls and take transport back to Lushoto.
GROWING ROCK TOUR Via NDELEMAI FOREST: 6-7Hrs
From Soni you walk through the villages, farming land, tea plantation and proceed to Ndelemai forest home to black and white Columbus monkey. You descend to the village of Magila at “the foot of the growing rock” to visit soil conservation project and learn why the rock is growing.
