This tour takes you back in time and you discover what remains of the German colonial era in Lushoto. Which was then known as Wilhelmsthal. The German tried to develop the area and worked together with the local people. You can still find a number of old buildings which remained from this colonial period.

This tour takes you through the local villages and farming land to the famous Irente or Yoghoi viewpoint. From there you will see the village of Mazinde, almost 1000 metres below the vast Maasai plain. On the return trip to Lushoto, you visit the Irente biodiversity reserve where you can taste their homemade. Bread, quark curd and cheese and enjoy a picnic at their beautiful garden.

This tour takes you for a scenic short walk from Lushoto to the Catholic Mission of the Montessori Sisters in Ubiri. At this beautifully landscaped mission you can learn how they make cheese, taste and buy locally made cheese, wine and jams.

This tour begins with uphill walk from Lushoto to the royal village of Kwembago, where you learn about the cultural history of the traditional ruling clan, the Kilindi. From Kwembago you have a beautiful view over Lushoto and the Maasai plains. You'll proceed to the lush Magamba rainforest, home to black and white Columbus monkey. On the way back to Lushoto passes via an old German School and the village of Magamba.

This tour takes you through the villages, farming land and small part of forest. Then you walk all the way to the water fall. On the way back you walk a little bit and take transport back to Lushoto. A romantic small waterfall within the natural forest.

Start walking from Soni through village s, farming land, coffee plantations, leading to Sakarani where the Usambara wine is processed. After that we return back via villages of Mbelei and all the way to Soni and take transport back to Lushoto.

KWAMONGO PEAK(GOD'S PLACE): 5-6HrsThe tour start from Soni you walk to the top of Kwamongo mountain peak, famous for its season multi- coloured butterflies via the villages of Shashui and Kwemula. From Kwamongo you have views of Soni, Lushoto and Handeni plains. You descend to the villages to Soni and take back to Lushoto.
